Definition

'Inherent treatment plan (ITP) describes the natural order of the healing process. At any one time, given the resources of the client and the quality of the relational field held by the practitioner, there will be a primary issue that can begin to resolve. The inherent treatment plan is a decision made by the breath of life and emerges during the session; it is not a sequence imposed by the client or the practitioner.'[1]

Derivation

Becker, Sills.

Discussion

The intelligence in the body is smarter than the intellect of the practitioner. The inherent treatment plan is an attempt to honour the priorities of the person in front of you without imposing protocols or plans on the creative processes of healing.
