Mid tide necessarily involves a sense of the whole body being involved in tidal expressions. If CRI is local, mid tide is about the whole body, we can then also say long tide is about the space beyond the body and dynamic stillness is beyond the horizon or, even, beyond the beyond. Mid tide perception frequently includes the [[biosphere]] or [[peripersonal space]].

Definition

Mid tide is a term developed at the Karuna Institute to designate middle tidal unfoldment of the breath of life; it used to be called the potency tide. Generally described as 2.5 cycles/min or approximately 24 seconds to complete a cycle of inhale and exhale.[1]

Derivation

Franklyn Sills at the Karuna Institute in the early 2000's

Discussion

Mid tide necessarily involves a sense of the whole body being involved in tidal expressions. If CRI is local, mid tide is about the whole body. We can go on to then say long tide is about the space beyond the body and dynamic stillness is beyond the horizon or, even, beyond the beyond. Mid tide perception frequently includes the biosphere or peripersonal space.
